A proper facial regiment is very similar in concept to well-executed hair care. Daily care for hair of course revolves around the use of shampoo and conditioner; the shampoo to clean the hair and remove excess oil and dirt, and conditioner to restore moisture and nutrients lost in the process of cleaning. Facial care should be treated in the same way. It’s important to both clean and properly treat the face, and each step relies upon the others. Steps one and two in our process are for purification and three through five are to restore the moisture, vitamins, and minerals lost in day to day life and the purification process itself.
Cleansing is the most important step of the proper daily facial regiment, as it is the foundation upon which the remaining steps depend on. Without proper cleansing, the effects of the entire facial care process will be marginalized.
Toner should be used before cleansing as well as in between most procedures in the daily facial regimen. Toners, such as red and RePLENISH, are alcohol-free and astringents like ReMEDI are alcohol-based should be used for bacterial control
Exfoliation is the process of gently removing dead skin cells from the body in order to bring vibrant, living cells to the surface. For our gentle exfoliator, we suggest using two to three times a week in place of normal cleansing for that day, as our exfoliating products are cleansing scrubs.
Masks are intended as a method of providing deep purification and additional mineral replacement to supplement the rest of the facial care process. As such it is recommended they be applied three times a week to daily, depending on the needs of the individual.
KOBIDO offers a variety of different treatment masks for different purposes, such as boosting collagen, reducing wrinkles, age spot reduction, anti-aging, acne control, and a variety other skin conditions. Please choose the proper mask to suit your needs.
After all cleansing is complete, apply toner to the entire face to re-hydrate the skin. KOBIDO prepares many different moisturizers, oil-free hydrating serums, as well as liquid moisturizer (squalene-based) to accommodate all skin types and individual needs. Please check our moisturizer page for general guidelines or consult your KOBIDO certified esthetician to determine which moisturizer is most suited to your needs.
KOBIDO has specially prepared three different eye care products. If you begin developing bags under your eyes and need reduced collagen, we highly suggest using ReSTORE. If you have fine lines or age spots around the eye we would suggest the use of ReCOVER. If the area around the eye is very sensitive, we suggest RePAIR.
We use fresh organic ingredients with minimum amount of preservatives. We are therefore aware that our product may be more vulnerable to the external environment such as extreme temperature. If our product fails to meet your expectations within six months of purchase, we will happily exchange it for another kobido product.
