Tricia and Byron Schimpp first began distilling the wild plants growing on their remote property in Utah, located in the shadows of Bryce Canyon National Park, in 2004. It started with curiosity about the beneficial qualities of the wild sagebrush, a plant that produces potent essential oils to protect itself in harsh conditions ranging from snow in winter to scorching heat in summer.
